No doubt most campaigners are aware of disgraceful reports that are available under the freedom of information act, in relation to the trial culls. For those that have missed them, you can access them via the "STOP THE CULL" website here
The fight is by no means over, despite these appalling outcomes.
A new national campaign has been launched by "Operation Badger". This allows you to find petitions for your area. However if your council doesn't have a petition, then you can "Become a Badger Champion" by setting one up in your area. This is especially important, because the general rule is that you have to be a local resident to sign a council petition, although there is usually an option to sign where, for instance, you visit relatives, or take regular trips/holidays in the area.
The aim is to create a network across England. You can access this highly informative site here
You can find details of all planned Badger events via The Badger Trust here
You can also visit Brian May's "SAVE ME" site, which as you would expect, is packed with information and updates here
The "State of Nature" report in 2013 revealed that 60% of UK wildlife is in decline. On a worldwide scale 50% of wildlife has vanished in just 40 years. Only 0.02% of the UK population use their voice to protect nature and the environment. However once people receive the facts, they do rise. We are the catalyst to help make that happen. Support the "State of Nature" partner wildlife charities - they can be found on this page.
